This year’s Vive La France festival, courtesy of Brighton promoters Melting Vinyl, got started at The Green Door Store with performances by Les Zuts, Mesparrow and Francois and the Atlas Mountains.
It was another fantastic night as some of France’s most exciting exports descended upon Brighton’s shores.

Vive La France gets off to a very French start at the Green Door Store with Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Mesparrow and Les Zuts all on the billing.
Thursday’s show at The Hope is presented by French taste-makers Les Inrockuptibles and will see Polarsets, College, Air Bag One and JD the DJ (of Les Inrock) all perform.
It’s another quintessentially French night at The Green Door Store this Friday as Phoebe Killdeer & the Short Straws, Justine Taton, Sing Sing My Darling and Transformer DJs all take to the stage.
Friday at The Hope might throw up a few unexpected surprises with Turzi Electronique Experience, Concrete Knives, Halfway and L’Amour Electronique DJs all playing.
Saturday night at the Duke of York’s presents a unique opportunity for the full-on-Francophile and the more casual French fan alike.
